Newsflash: Chase-ing a Ribbon of Dreams!

Hey, this sounds pretty cool. Sopranos creator David Chase has a new HBO mini-series in the works about the creation of Hollywood. It’s called A Ribbon of Dreams, taken from the Orson Welles quote: “A film is like a ribbon of dreams.” The series will focus on two men in 1913 Hollywood—a cowboy and a mechanical engineer—who form an unlikely production company. The show will feature them as they cross paths with a number of legends who shaped the movie industry, including John Wayne, John Ford, Raoul Walsh, Bette Davis and Billy Wilder. (The question on our minds is most certainly who they’ll cast!) The series will follow the growth of Hollywood from silent films to the golden age of talkies, right up to the present day. Sounds like our kind of show!
